The Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore His Excellency Premjith S called on the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education His Excellency Dr Hossam Issa on 9 February 2014. 


During the meeting, His Excellency Dr Issa and Ambassador Premjith discussed recent developments in Egypt and the Egyptian Government’s efforts to upgrade the quality of the tertiary education to meet the skilled manpower needs of the industry. His Excellency Dr Issa and Ambassador Premjith agreed to explore bilateral cooperation in the crucial field of vocational training.
