Launch of the ASEAN Book Section at Cairo University 22 September 2016

As Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Cairo, Ambassador S Premjith co-officiated the launch of the ASEAN Book Section at Cairo University with the Vice-President of Cairo University Professor Amr Amin on 22 September 2016. The event was attended by ASEAN Ambassadors in Cairo, faculty and senior officials from Cairo University, as well as students from Cairo University and ASEAN countries.

ASEAN Embassies in Cairo donated a total of 531 books to the Cairo University's Central Library. Cairo University is home to 250,000 students.
